Benjelloun pursued higher education at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland, where he honed his expertise in finance and business management.

  • Banking Sector Expansion: In 1988, Benjelloun acquired RMA Watanya, an insurance company, and expanded his business empire by taking over BMCE Bank. He later acquired Bank of Africa, extending its reach to over 12 African countries, with a market capitalization of $4 billion.
